2012 > Orison For The Forest

The first off-site project for Violet Poe Projects was presented at Best Friends Gallery in Arlington Heights, IL. Inspired by Youna Kwak's poem, ORISON FOR THE FOREST, this group exhibition included video, photography, sculpture, and collage, as well as audio of Kwak, Gustavson, and Hedden reading the poem. The readings played from three sound systems hidden in foliage throughout the yard.

Artists: Stephanie Brooks, Jennifer Gustavson, Jenny Hansen, Claire Hedden, Youna Kwak, Dawn Roe, and Sarah Stonefoot. Curated by Kendra Paitz.
